Star Trek: Star Realms - Borg Invasion is an expansion deck building card game that introduces the Borg as a new enemy threat in two multiplayer game modes: Cooperative and Player vs. Player. In Cooperative Mode, players join forces to take on the overwhelming power of the Borg Collective. In Player vs. Player Mode, one player assumes the role of the Borg, wielding assimilation technology and devastating tactics to overpower their opponents. The Borg utilize new and devastating technology to assimilate other ships, powerful forcefields making them impervious to attacks, and legions of Drones to infiltrate and overpower enemy ships. The expansion adds a new tool to aid in battles: Gambits, which are powerful ability cards. Designed for 2-4 players ages 14 and up, the game features TCC style combat.
